On Feb 9 2009, Thiruvananthapuram’s Vyloppilly Samskriti Bhavan was witness to a historic event. Smt Kalamandalam Saraswathy made a comeback to the stage after a break of 16 years. She performed Mohiniyattam along with her daughter Aswathy for an ahour and a half under the auspices of the Mohiniyattam workshop organised by Sougandhika Center for Mohiniyattam.
